- Eat organic food as much as possible.
- Read labels on EVERYTHING in the store. GMOs are in just about everything from grain to yeasts to enzyme additives.
- Research and compile a list of companies that produce natural products without GMOs. When shopping, search out these manufacturers on the store shelves.
- Eat unprocessed foods as much as possible. I know this is difficult for busy families. Try using Sunday afternoons to prepare meals ahead of time; it is great family time together.
- Start baking your own breads and buns. I have an electric bread maker, which speeds up the process considerably and it is so easy. When looking for bread maker yeast, be sure it is NON- GMO.
